Week of Action For Palestinian Prisoners
The 17.4. is the Day of the Palestinian Prisoners. An issue more important than ever – because in Germany everyone only thinks of Israelis when they talk about hostages. There are currently over 9,000 Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails, almost half of them without any trial or charges. They are tortured, raped and denied all rights.
That is why we declare the week around 17.4. to be the week of action for the Palestinian prisoners. Actions on this topic will take place nationwide from 15.4.-21.4. The public and the media can ignore us worse when we are many and everywhere!
Join in! Organizes information stands, exhibitions, demos, film evenings and discussion rounds. Clarifies about administrative detention or sheds light on the situation of Palestinian children in captivity.
